6 Week Contract -- Transition our Web/Mobile Products in Unity to WebGL

We are looking for expertise in web and mobile architecture; the right candidate will create prototypes and products for coaches to use to evaluate players; fans to enjoy; on-air talent to use to tell stories live on TV; teams and analysts to use to evaluate player performance. This could include anything from mobile applications, to touch screen interfaces (on PC and devices), to web-based apps, so well rounded experience across platforms and code-bases is a must.

Specifically, projects will include: Transitioning our RaceView Premium product from existing Unity/Flash/Flex combination to WebGL, ensuring it works on all major browser types. Creating new tablet, mobile, and PC experiences using WebGL, HTML5, and Javascript. Specifically, work with other engineers to create coaching and consumer applications that combine live and archived video with content, data, and enhancements. Help create new prototypes (i.e., how would we how would we visualize the path of a baseball and a player in a real-time using HTML 5; how would we architect a gesture-based iTV ‘hit the pitch’ experience integrated with partner SDKs). Assist with maintaining our existing product-line (i.e., adding new features to the award winning RaceView Premium product coded in Flex and Flash). You don’t need to know Flash/Flex at expert level, but ability to come in and troubleshoot is a must.

Your direct clients will be both internal and major league digital media operations team members. This role requires you to interact with them both verbally and in writing, explaining implementation details and building confidence in our teams’ technical competency, approach, and execution.

Required: Extensive experience with HTML5 and CSS Expertise with PHP Expertise with WebGL (including manipulating 2d and 3d graphics). Expertise with JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as JQuery, AngularJS, three.js, Underscore, Backbone Working knowledge of C++ Working knowledge of Flex, Flash, and Action Script 3.0 5+ years developing web based and mobile applications Track record of producing end to end web-based and mobile prototypes Experience developing consumer rich internet applications. Experience designing for complex browser matrixes and versions (Firefox, Chrome, IE) and troubleshooting challenges across each Experience publishing builds (to staging servers and live sites); managing engineering details of releases; resolving live site issues on the fly; etc. Experience providing architectural leadership to refactor existing software and build applications from scratch Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving skills and work well in a dynamic team environment Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts Self-starter and motivated to create well engineered software components and systems BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline Desired, but Not Required: Experience developing apps with real time data or media (video, audio) streaming applications Experience with a variety of video codecs and FFMPEG Experience with data management -- load balancing on AWS or like services. Experience with iOS and Android development, app store acceptance criteria, etc. Experience with development on XBox Experience with Agile development process Experience Java, .NET, C#, SQL programming Expertise with HTML tools such as Yeoman, Grunt, Sass, LESS Experience with 3D Graphics (OpenGL, Unity) Game, film, TV graphics or broadcast video experience Interested in and knowledgeable of sports Experience with Apache and MySQL

Experience:HTML5, javascript, PHP, and WebGL are most important technical skills. Unity 3D a plus!
