Senior Software Engineer - Graphics/Engine

US We're a lean software house based in the heart of Auckland CBD, developing cutting edge graphics technologies, cloud-based rendering SAAS, and bespoke web-apps that make photographic rendering possible in near-real time. Now, we're on the look out for the next developer to help us build a browser based 3D modeling web-app from the ground up. It needs to be fast, powerful, scable, and easy to use - interested? Algo

THE ROLE: You'll be working closely with a small team, developing and building real, tangible contributions to our proprietary 3D Modelling web-app. In this role, you'll be taking ownership over key aspects of the project across the stack, and have opportunity to influence the architecture and direction of the project as you work with us on the projects fresh code base.

You're comfortable with current web technolgoies, pick up new tech quickly, and have your finger on the pulse with the latest technologies in 3D graphics and web development. You like variety in your work, and feel at home at all levels of the stack; databases, back-end and front-end (with a dash of UI/UX). An eye for detail, wholistic thinking, and the ability to foresee problems and steer away from frequent refactoring helps you to add to the projects momentum. We're hoping you have: • a passion for 3D Computer Graphics (realtime graphics, raytracing, shaders, CAD, etc - demostrated experience is a big plus) • a passion for web development (from polished user experiences to fast load times, scaleable solutions that can "go big", and everything else in between) • experience with Computational Geometry, Graphics Algorithms and Data Structures in CAD or 3D Modelling domains • excellent communication, self-management, and problem solving skills

Sound exciting? Then we'd like to hear from you.
