3D Web Developer (WebGL/Typescript)

We are looking for talented 3D Web developer to join our growing team in Lausanne. Pix4D develops drone photogrammetry software and products that enable tens of thousands of professionals around the world to process, visualize, measure and edit their own maps, 3D models and point clouds.

In the Cloud Team we are developing 2D and 3D tools to allow users to share and analyze those models, point clouds and maps. Your main focus will be to help us pushing forward our online 3D tools with technologies like ThreeJS, Openlayers, Typescript. You will join a talented and agile team where practices such as pull requests, code reviews, pair programming or daily deployments to production are part of the culture.

You strive to keep your code simple, readable and maintainable. You understand the importance of user experience and your definition of “done” includes a thorough user testing phase. You are passionate about your craft, you enjoy sharing good practices via pair programming and learning from others.


  • Architect, build and deliver complex web applications based on modern Javascript
  • Develop tools to visualize and manage large amounts of data on 3D
  • Collaborate proactively with product managers, UX designers and software engineers using an agile process to build world class, user focused solutions
  • Investigate cutting-edge technologies and share the knowledge with teammates

REQUIREMENTS - Proven experience with popular 3D engines (e.g. Unity, three.js, Potree.js.) - Excellent knowledge of web standards: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, DOM, WebGL, WebGPU, WebVR - Excellent knowledge of modern software engineering principles and techniques (e.g. continuous delivery, code reviews, test-driven development, refactoring, incremental delivery, effective git) - Good sense of user experience and usability - Strong analytical, assessment and problem-solving skills - Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken


  • Experience with Angular 5 or React.
  • Experience with TypeScript/Flow.
  • Experience with map technologies (e.g. Openlayers, Google Maps, Cesium, Web-GIS).
